What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for practitioners who have an innovative approach to their work and aren’t afraid to think of new and interesting approaches to the support they offer.

Empathetic and passionate, you’ll understand that our pupils’ journeys aren’t necessarily linear. If you haven’t worked in SEN before, but are enthusiastic and motivated to make the move, we’ll give you all the additional training and support you require.

The role will initially be supporting in our lower school department which covers both KS1 and KS2 pupils, however you may be asked to support in our upper school department too. You will be supporting learners within their classroom environment as well as their personal and social development during socialising periods through break and lunch times. The role may also involve supporting pupils who are accessing an alternate provision away from the school environment.

We actively welcome applications from existing SEND practitioners looking for a new whole school role, as well as colleagues who are looking to move in to SEND sector. It goes without saying that we will nurture, support and provide you with the professional development needed for you to succeed.

Through our Trust we can also provide the training and development for you to develop skills and qualifications to support you in working with our children and young people.
