What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced PE teacher to lead our PE department. • The person appointed to this post must be able to demonstrate:
• An ability and willingness to support the Catholic ethos of the school.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• A high level of ICT literacy
• The ability to demonstrate effective leadership and management skills.
• To oversee the PE curriculum
• To promote the highest possible teaching and learning for all students in the teaching of PE
• To oversee the effective and efficient use of department resources
• To promote, lead and run a varied choice of extracurricular activities
