A Rare HR Leadership Role to Make Your Own
We are an ambitious Trust Partnership of primary and secondary schools, providing high quality education which improves the life chances of children and young people in North and West Yorkshire.
You are an ambitious HR professional looking for a dynamic leadership role where you can build and lead an HR function in a fast-paced environment. Through your knowledge of workforce development you’ll support strategic change across the Trust, building an HR infrastructure that equips us for the future.
Most importantly, you’ll be inspired by the same mission that drives all our senior leaders – a passionate commitment to widening educational opportunity for all.
With nine schools currently employing almost 600 people, with plans to grow, we are looking for an individual with drive and energy, ready to roll up their sleeves and lean in to create a dynamic HR service. You’ll be equally comfortable driving change to sharpen HR operations and sitting around the top table to shape future strategy.
Call us for an informal (and confidential) conversation about the role or to arrange to visit us prior to application to find out more about our Trust. https://www.nsat.org.uk/careers-in-the-trust/vacancies/

Northern Star Academies Trust is a partnership of eight schools currently, linked together in three hubs across North and West Yorkshire. Staff are able to drive between our schools in under an hour, meaning that we are a geographically compact and coherent trust.
All our current schools are Good or Outstanding, as recognised by Ofsted,
though we set ourselves challenging goals through our own academy development plans which look beyond Ofsted criteria alone. We
aim to provide an excellent education for every child, whatever their
context or starting point.
Together, we are a community of educators: teachers, associate staff, trustees, governors and our young people and their families. Community and learning is at the heart of everything we do.
