People Officer - LIFE EDUCATION TRUST CENTRAL TEAM job summary

Are you an organised, proactive and people-focused professional looking for a role where you can make a real difference and have some fun along the way? LIFE Education Trust is looking for a People Officer to join our growing People Team, a varied and exciting opportunity to work at the heart of everything we do for our colleagues across the Trust.

This is a role for someone who thrives on getting things done. You will provide proactive operational and project support to our Head of People, helping to manage and improve the systems and processes that underpin the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to development and offboarding. You will also provide support to the wider People Development Team.

No two days will look the same. You will be managing diaries, preparing meeting packs, tracking actions, generating reports, supporting engagement initiatives and contributing to service improvements all while building strong relationships with colleagues at every level. We are looking for someone who can work with a high degree of autonomy, use their initiative to solve problems and bring a positive and collaborative approach to everything they do.

Please note: This position will be based at Dr Walkers Primary School, Walker Avenue, Fyfield, Ongar, CM5 0RG. We will consider hybrid working.
