Peripatetic Piano Teacher job summary

Oakgrove School is looking for a Peripatetic Piano Teacher to deliver lessons at our Primary School; the successful applicant should be able to teach piano and keyboard to students from Year 3 to Year 6.

Peripatetic teachers at Oakgrove are self-employed and can choose their own pay rate. We would be happy to discuss hourly rates of pay at interview.

Lessons are delivered in normal school hours.

A total of 10 1-1 lessons of 20mins are taught each term within our school term dates. Teachers may wish to offer 30mins lessons for students who require them if parents are in agreement.

Teachers invoice parents directly and provide timetables to parents and the school either termly or half-termly.

Contract is reviewed on an annual basis.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
