Permanent Learning Support Assistants job summary

Do you enjoy working with children? Would you like to make a difference? Do you aspire to be a teacher in the near future?

If so, Abbotswood Junior School is looking for Learning Support Assistants to join our large skilled learning support team as recognised by Ofsted:

“skilled adults support pupils…providing support which is precise and helps pupils make good progress”

You will work alongside teachers and will “receive regular, high quality training” and coaching.

If you are motivated, relish a challenge and enjoy working with junior school children as well as having good literacy and numeracy skills, then please apply. We have vacancies for both 1:1 and Class Learning Support Assistants.

In addition, if you aspire to be a teacher in the future then Abbotswood will fully support you in this.
