Achievement – Nurture and Respect – Adventure - Creativity
We are expanding our team! We are looking for you!
We are seeking to expand our team and appoint an enthusiastic, committed and outstanding Key Stage 2 Teacher (Year 6), to join our teaching team from September 2021. We have an incredibly positive and enthusiastic work ethic; all staff are supported and enjoy working within our friendly and collaborative environment. Jericho Primary School can offer the opportunity to work with amazing, well behaved and motivated children. We are a school that thrives on team work and recognise the importance of high quality support for the teachers. We offer a creative and responsive package of CPD for all staff.
We want you to be part of our GREAT School!
What are we looking for in you? Whether you’re an NQT or an experienced teacher, to be successful you need to be a teacher who is passionate and knowledgeable about primary teaching. You will possess the ability to teach consistently at an excellent level. You will have a ‘can do’ mentality with a desire to go that extra mile to ensure our children can be the best that they can be. If you’re an experienced teacher, we will ask you to lead a curriculum area. Above all, as a school we feel it is important to be positive, fun and a real team-player.
In return, we offer wonderful children, who love to learn and a community who take pride in being members of team Jericho. We are an inclusive school, where high standards and excellence are valued. Our staff work whole heartedly as a team to deliver the best for our families and nurture and respect underpin all that we do. We offer a supportive experienced leadership team who are committed to developing Jericho into an outstanding place to work and learn.
(For experienced candidates we offer the following recruitment incentive – 2 lump sum payments of £2500 payable at on completion of successful appraisals at the end of your first and second years with us).
Diversity at our core: As a school, we are passionate about diversity and recognise that as individuals we all bring something unique to the role regardless of age, gender, race, beliefs or disabilities which is why we treat all of our people equally, without compromise.
Our School is committed to safeguarding children and successful candidates will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check. Our commitment to safeguarding is underpinned by robust processes and checks which are in place across the school.
