About the Role

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to be part of an exceptional growing comprehensive school. As a member of The Swan’s team, you will help to build the foundations of an outstanding school from the ground up.

As Personal Assistant to the Headteacher you will play a crucial role at the heart of the school. You will support the Headteacher and other members of the senior leadership with a wide range of administrative functions to ensure that the school runs as effectively as possible. You will be involved in all aspects of school life, including marketing, recruitment, event planning, and governance. You will have the chance to work and interact with a wide range of different people from students to staff and external agencies.

The successful candidate will share our ambitions for our students, and be motivated to help our students and their families have the best experience of school. You will enjoy working in a busy environment, where no two days are the same. You will be highly organised, have excellent interpersonal skills, and be a self-starter who is keen to learn new skills. You will be confident with IT.

This is a full-time role, though flexible working may be considered for the right candidate. Working patterns are negotiable but would typically be 8am-4pm. This role is initially a maternity cover which is expected to be from January/February to November 2024 however, there are likely that there will be additional opportunities within the school moving forward as the school grows.
