What skills and experience we're looking for

The post will require the candidate to work primarily with a pupil requiring additional needs with responsibilities including; personal care, targeted support, intervention and in class support.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Experience of working within a school is preferred
  • Ability to work and communicate with young children
  • A minimum of Level 4 (C) GCSE or equivalent, in Maths and English
  • Experience of supporting a child to meet specific targets
  • Experience of working with visiting professionals
  • Be able to adapt the planning/session where required for the individual child
  • Be able to use their own initiative
