What skills and experience we're looking for
The successful candidate will:
- Be caring and supporting in assisting pupils with their day to day personal needs.
- Support play and leisure activities
- Support pupils with eating and drinking at break times and lunch times
- Support play and leisure activities
- Support teachers, teaching assistants and health care professional with PE and dance lessons, hydrotherapy, rebound therapy, aromatherapy and outdoor pursuits
Essential
- Previous experience of caring for, or working with children.
- Able to follow instructions to support children in an educational setting
Desirable
- Experience caring for children with complex health care needs and their family.
- Relevant health care qualifications as required for the post

We are a specialist academy for children aged 3-19. Most learners are on the autistic spectrum and some have severe, complex, profound and multiple learning difficulties. We are based in Mansfield Woodhouse and currently have 113 pupils.
Our academy has a caring and supportive staff team who believe in every learner, and we work together to ensure our children achieve their very best.
