Personal Development and Admin Support job summary


Main responsibilities

·         support in maintaining and developing a programme of Personal Development that is understood by students, parents, staff and governors – including the general studies lessons, tutor time programme, collective worship programme, Mindset Day programme

·         support in maintaining and developing a programme of CEIAG that is understood by students, parents, staff, governors and employers liaise with external careers providers and plan and coordinate careers appointments and experiences for students

·         liaise with external speakers and visitors and plan and coordinate careers events and experiences for students

·         liaise with external speakers and visitors to plan and coordinate personal development experiences for students in general studies, collective worship and Mindset Days

·         liaise with the local authority to track and record destinations

·         liaise with ex-students to track three-year destinations

·         liaise with the local authority and other stakeholders about student destinations

·         develop and deliver, where appropriate, workplace visits

·         maintain the careers library area

·         support with General Studies rotas and planning, resource coordination

·         support scheduling parent meetings linked to RSE withdrawal

·         support with Mindset Day coordination including liaising with and booking external speakers/events/transport

·         track career events by student using Compass+ and Unifrog

·         track whole academy extra curricular activities (internal and external) to allow half termly analysis

·         monitor students and staff on the Unifrog platform

·         undertake clerical/administrative duties to support SLT in their roles.

·         any other reasonable duties as requested by the Principal, SLT or EA/PA to the Principal/Head of Trust
