What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful candidate must have HR/Personnel Officer experience, ideally in a school environment. This role will involve working closely with the Business Manager as required. As the current post holder is looking to take early retirement there is the opportunity for a period of job handover. Amongst other things this ideal candidate should demonstrate;

- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Excellent planning and organisational skills to include time management and the ability to work to strict deadlines

- Able to work as part of a team but also confident in working individually without close supervision demonstrating initiative and proactivity

- Ensuring confidentiality and discretion at all times when dealing with staff and in all communication with the school community and other stakeholders

- Experience in using or managing ARBOR, or a similar database would be advantageous

- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is required for this role
