Phase Leader for Keystage One with Teacher responsibilities job summary

We require an enthusiastic Keystage 1 Phase Leader to commence the role from 27/08/2019. The teacher will also have classroom responsibility. The teacher must have at least 4 years experience of teaching in a primary school.

The role is to:

• Ensure that the curriculum delivered in the allocated phase is exciting and challenging while meeting statutory requirements.

• Track and analyse attainment and progress of all pupils including performance of vulnerable groups.

• Take subject leader responsibility for the delivery of a Core subject. Work with other phase leaders, the deputy head teacher and the head teacher to maintain continuity and progression in teaching and learning.

• Assist the leadership team in preparing the School Development Plan and the School Self-Evaluation Form.

• Take responsibility for leading and managing a team of teachers and support staff.
