Phase Teaching Assistant 1:1 SEN Support job summary
Avenue is a large, friendly and supportive primary school and the successful applicant will be a valued member of the Avenue team. As a Teaching School, we pride ourselves on nurturing a love of learning in everyone in our school community. We recognise that many TAs are gaining valuable experience before undertaking teacher training and we want to support them in their aspirations for a career in teaching.
We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Teaching Assistant (TA) to work in our outstanding school in order to provide 1:1 support to a pupil with Special Educational Needs. We offer a range of opportunities for career progression, including for those applicants who would like to pursue a teaching career.
Our ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing children’s learning, be flexible, able to work independently and enjoy working as part of a pro-active and dedicated team.
Applicants must have a minimum of NVQ3 (or equivalent) or be willing to undertake this. Please refer to person specification for more information.
