About the role
As a Phonics Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils to develop their early reading skills through Read Write Inc phonics. You will work closely with staff to develop the teaching of phonics. You will track and assess progress in phonics and work with children in small groups and 1 to 1 to ensure progress is made.
This is a rare and unique opportunity to be a member of staff at a flourishing academy, and help make a real difference to the lives of its pupils.
Our ideal candidates will:
· Hold Mathematics and English GCE to Grade C or above
· Have experience of phonics and reading in EYFS and KS1 and experience of working with children with SEN
