A well-qualified and creative teacher of Physics is required to join this extremely successful department on a fixed term basis. Excellent results are produced through inspired teaching ensuring the girls enjoy and understand the subject, including robust numbers at A level. The successful candidate should have a strong academic background, should be able to teach Physics to A Level, and all three Sciences at KS3. This is a highly effective team and the candidate will be expected to play a full role within the Department.
The position would suit a newly qualified or an experienced teacher.

Watford Grammar School for Girls is a partially selective 11-18 girls’ school, founded as ‘The Free School’ in Watford in 1704 with a mission to teach girls, initially alongside their brothers, from the outset. This makes us one of the oldest girls’ school in the country.
