Victoria Primary School is looking to appoint a permanent play leader who has a passion for helping children to get active and to become great team players. First-time visitors to Victoria Primary School are always surprised: we are a culturally diverse inner-city estate school where our team’s high academic expectations are evident and our pupils are obviously eager to please. This position offers a rare and exciting opportunity to join a committed and friendly team of professionals who expect to support and challenge each other to secure the very best for all of our children.
We are looking for people who:

• have a proven track record of maintaining, or the desire to develop, a great play environment
• can naturally and confidently engage young children of all backgrounds

The play leader we appoint can expect to:
• be an equal member of a very forward-thinking staff team
• be supported by – and / or contribute to - personalised coaching, action research, and focused training
• work with diverse, outgoing and friendly children
• engage with ongoing development and support through the Nova Education Trust and the Torch Teaching School Alliance
