Job Opportunity: Play Worker (6 hours per week) - Grade 4

Fixed Term post until July 2025

John Henry Newman Academy, a Good school in the heart of Littlemore, is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Play Worker to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of our pupils by supporting their development through structured and engaging play activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and prepare resources for play sessions

Facilitate engaging, inclusive, and safe play activities

Encourage positive social interaction and creative play

Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development

Requirements:

Experience working with children in a play-based setting

Enthusiastic, creative, and passionate about play and child development

Strong communication and organisational skills

A commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive play environment

This is a part-time role (6 hours per week) with flexibility. If you are passionate about supporting children’s learning and growth through play, we would love to hear from you!
