What skills and experience we're looking for
The successful candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching students aged 14+
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of SEN, with experience in mainstream or specialist education with a sound knowledge of appropriate qualifications and accreditations.
- Be driven to make a real difference in the lives of our students
- Have high aspirations for all learners and a commitment to enabling them to reach their full potential

Nancealverne School is a proud member of the Special Partnership Trust and a forward-thinking, inclusive special school based in Penzance. We cater for children and young people aged 3–19 with a wide range of complex needs, including moderate to severe learning difficulties, autism, and social, emotional and mental health needs.
We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Post-14 SEN Teacher to join our Upper School team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for inclusive education and the skills to inspire and support learners with diverse needs.
