Maplefields is a specialist Academy based in Corby, Northamptonshire. The school caters for pupils with social emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH), as their primary need.
At the point of referral, many pupils have additional, associated and sometimes complex needs, which may include: ADHD (Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder); ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder); ODD (Oppositional Defiant Disorder); Tourettes; Mental Health Difficulties; Language and Learning difficulties; Asperger's or are on the Autistic Spectrum. The school does not cater for pupils who have a diagnosis of Autism as their primary need.
As a high performing, SEMH special school, which Ofsted judged as Outstanding in every area in November 2016, we are not remotely complacent. We are committed to ensuring that the quality of provision we offer to our students is consistently excellent. We believe that such sustained success is a team effort and every member of staff contributes to that level of excellence. We are a relatively small school, but we still have the highest expectations of all members of the school staff.
