Post 16 SEN Teacher job summary
The successful candidate will have a passion for Special Educational Needs and a creative, inspirational approach to developing and delivering an engaging and personalised curriculum to our learners. They will also need to be able to keep up physically with the demands of working within a special school where students have wide ranging complex needs.
Our staff team have excellent positive behaviour management strategies and experience of helping learners self-regulate their emotions. Our new team colleague should display this knowledge and experience.
Ravenshall’s PfA is a successful and growing provision. It will soon have a new ‘Base’ where quality teaching and learning will provide an excellent environment for our learners to prepare for work and life. Candidates will teach Entry Level and Level 1&2 accreditation, alongside other life skills.
We aim to provide a broad, balanced and fully engaging curriculum which will enable each learner to develop emotionally, socially, physically and intellectually to achieve their full potential.
