PPA Cover Supervisor – Level 1 – PE and Sports Coach job summary

Job Purpose

• To supervise whole classes during a teacher’s PPA, providing outdoor/indoor PE sessions under the guidance of teaching/senior staff, including implementing work programmes planned for by the class teacher, managing pupil behaviour and assisting pupils in relevant activities in line with the school’s policies and procedures.
• To plan, deliver and monitor a co-ordinated programme of high quality physical education programme and activities, which are progressive and reflective of the needs of children and support the aim of increasing participation in PE and school sport by ALL children at South Grove Primary School.

We were graded as Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted in January 2019. Our Nursery provides 40 part-time places both morning and afternoon, with some full-time places.
