PPA Teacher job summary
We are looking for an exceptional teacher to provide PPA cover across the school on Monday to Thursday afternoons starting Autumn term 2025
11 hours (including one hour paid PPA), Monday to Thursday, 1.10pm to 3.40pm
At present we teach Spanish in these sessions and ideally, we would like to continue with this, however we are open to individuals who have strengths in other areas of the wider curriculum, for example music and the arts. It is more important to us to recruit someone with strong teaching and behaviour management skills along with the willingness to teach a wider curriculum subject rather than being an ‘expert’ in a subject area. Please state in your letter of application what your curriculum strengths are.
High expectations and a good sense of humour along with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential elements of the post. You will be committed to offering the best opportunities for the young people in our school.
