PPA Teacher job summary
The Governors wish to appoint an excellent teacher who will teach in all five of our classes (FS2/Y1, Y1/2, Y3/4, Y4/5 and Y5/6) across school covering PPA and leadership time. This role is equivalent to four days plus PPA (0.81). One of the days, a Friday, is a one day job share in the Y4 / 5 class. You will also be a Subject Leader for Music and Modern Foreign Languages, teaching French in our three KS2 classes.
With an in depth knowledge of the national curriculum, we need an enthusiastic teacher who can motivate children and make learning practical, fun and challenging. Our children learn most effectively when there is an enriching experience and they can reach their full potential in a positive, engaging and well-managed learning environment. We have high expectations of ourselves and behaviour and we all have a desire to achieve.
