PPA Teacher – Non Class Based job summary

M1 – M6 (4 days – 22 hours) We are looking for a dynamic and innovative teacher to join our talented team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic professional who is passionate about delivering the very best opportunities for our children across our school, under our ethos of ‘Fun, Creativity & Achievement.’ The role will require the successful candidate to provide regular release time to our teachers in particular classes each week, working with the team to ensure that all lessons provide exciting and engaging lessons across the curriculum. This role is purely for PPA cover and therefore does not have any class responsibilities.

Pineham Barns is part of the Preston Hedge’s Academy Trust, which is built on the ethos of Fun, Creativity and Achievement. With these as the foundations of the school, we are committed to making Pineham Barns a very special place to learn; a school which is full of creative, innovative and engaging learning opportunities that encourage pupils to become inquisitive, confident, life-long learners.

Our school opened in 2017 and is set in a beautiful area with views over-looking the lake and local countryside, which means that the outdoors is at the heart of our curriculum.

Pineham Barns provides state of the art facilities and the opportunity to be part of a very exciting journey as we continue to grow. As a growing school, we have potential leadership opportunities for the future and are keen to nurture talent at our school and across the wider Trust. As a school, we offer an exceptional wellbeing support program for our team that includes telephone GP appointments for all who share your household.

From September, we are looking for a teacher who is driven to provide the very best opportunities for our children in both Key Stages. We wish to appoint teachers who are willing to collaborate with our supportive team to ensure that our ethos of Fun, Creativity & Achievement is brought to life.

To learn more about the role please contact the school office on (01604) 978120 or email kelly.denton@pineham.org. For more information on our school including the Preston Hedge’s Trust, please visit our website: www.pineham.org
