Farndon Fields Primary School are seeking to recruit a highly organised, empathetic and enthusiastic Pre-School Assistant to work within our Mini Oaks Pre-School setting, supporting the Pre-School Team.

Main Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Assist in the planning and implementing a multi-cultural play curriculum to stimulate children’s interest in learning.
- Ensure the well-being, safety and security of the children in accordance with safeguarding procedures.
- Work as a member of the team and assist the monitoring of quality of learning.
- Liaise with parents/carers and other staff to ensure children are welcomed and supported.
We are looking for someone who has:
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
- Good level of literacy and numeracy.
- Experience of working with children under five in informal or formal settings
- Willingness to adopt knowledge of good practice in Early Years care and education.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

We are a friendly, nurturing, inclusive school set in beautiful, extensive grounds on the edge of Market Harborough. We currently have approximately 300 children on roll including our Preschool and our school is growing, with six additional classrooms completed in January 2019.
