We are looking to appoint a highly motivated Pre-school Lead to join our team. You should be a positive and enthusiastic person who loves working with children and helping them to strive for their best.

Hours for this role are 31.25 hours a week, 8:30am - 3:15pm Monday - Friday and will become permanent following a successful 3-month probationary period

As a Pre-school Lead you will be responsible for running the pre-school and managing a team of around 3 or 4 so we are looking for someone who has ideally been in a senior position or in a role that has some exposure to senior responsibilities and experience of working with children 0-5 years who is happy to branch out to potentially work with older children.

The successful candidate will be childcare qualified to Level 3 / 4 from a recognised awarding scheme (CWDC Diploma, NNEB, BTEC, NVQ, CACHE). Have training in the Early Years Foundation Stage, child protection and safeguarding children and behaviour management.

Children will be at the heart of your work. You must be able to demonstrate that you understand the importance of educating the whole child, that you want the very best for them and are prepared to put their needs first.
