Vacancy for Preschool Leader at The Bluecoat School
Salary: Meridian Trust Grade 8, Point 19-24 £26,167-£28,902
Hours of work: 37 hours, 38 weeks (term time only).
This is a fixed-term maternity cover position until August 2025.
We currently have a vacancy for a passionate, creative Pre-School Leader who thrives on supporting pre-school children reach their potential at The Bluecoat School. You will work under the direction of the Headteacher, to enable access to learning for pre-school children ensuring the national standard for childcare is met.
The Opportunity
- Join a friendly, support team to provide high-quality education and care for preschool children.
- Take responsibility for the curriculum planning and monitoring the effectiveness of this.
- Provide a safe, inclusive setting for our children.
- Supervise staff daily to monitor the quality of teaching.
- Responsible for the curriculum planning and monitoring the effectiveness.
The ideal candidate
- Holds an NVQ/Level 3 in childcare of equivalent qualification.
- English and Maths GCE at Grades A*-C (9-4) or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in an Early Years setting
- Understands how children learn.
- Can form positive and caring relationships with children which motivates them to learn, grow and be confident.
- The ability to work collaboratively with parents, carers, colleagues and third parties.
