What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Supports the vision and values of the school
  • Good communication skills
  • Understand and commitment to working within Health & Safety legislation
  • Be willing to undertake any training required
  • Be willing to cover the Site Supervisor role
  • Be flexible in their approach to work
  • Experience of general maintenance and DIY
  • Be a team player with the ability to work individually using their own initiative
  • Undertake some cleaning tasks
  • Be able to follow instructions and direction
  • Can undertake duties to ensure the cleanliness, maintenance and tidiness of the building and outdoor area
  • Open the building, ensure the safety of the area for staff and pupils
  • Some general gardening duties to be undertaken on a regular basis
  • Be able to operate machinery, including tools

The post will require the ability to undertake physical tasks, manual handling, work at heights and lone working.
