Premises Manager job summary
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly-effective Premises Manager to join our team from February 2022.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all matters relating to the smooth running of the school’s buildings, grounds and equipment, including ad hoc capital projects.
The role is varied with elements of building maintenance, site security, supervision of contracts and cleaning.
You will be expected to carry out general maintenance around the school site, have a strong understanding and working knowledge of health and safety practices (IOSH, COSHH and Fire Safety) and demonstrable relevant experience. You will be expected to play an active part in school life and have pride in standards of maintenance that you keep relating to the building and facilities at the school.
The ideal applicant will have experience of line managing a team and overseeing the day to day requirements of a school site, and will need to be able to plan and think ahead.

has the physical ability to carry out manual handling tasks (i.e. lifting and moving items)
