Premises Manager job summary
Our aim is to employ someone who will help us maintain and improve the school and grounds, whilst ensuring compliance in all areas of Health and Safety. We would like the successful candidate to feel just as proud of our school, as we do.

Are practical, with a range of DIY skills and experience and able to use initiative
Strong communication skills to be able to effectively communicate with contractors
Computer literate
Reasonably fit, because this is a physical role involving lifting and carrying, and working both indoors and outdoors in all weathers
Are flexible in your approach to planning the working day
Can work within budgets, using best value protocols
Have a basic knowledge of preventative maintenance and Health and Safety
Have good levels of English and Maths
Are capable of establishing good working relationships with staff, pupils and contractors
Are proactive and able to organise your working day
Can lead by example and create a culture of trust and loyalty with those around them
Preferably with access to your own vehicle and with a clean driving licence
