  • Practical and hands‑on, with good DIY, maintenance or caretaking skills
  • Proactive and able to identify and resolve issues before they become problems
  • Knowledgeable about health and safety procedures, or willing to learn
  • Well organised, able to manage tasks across both the school and nursery sites
  • Flexible and adaptable to the needs of a busy primary school setting
  • A strong communicator who works well with staff, pupils, contractors and visitors
  • Committed to creating a welcoming, clean and well‑maintained environment for children to learn and thrive
  • A proactive leader who can manage risk, drive operational excellence, and support our commitment to the United Learning value of bringing out the Best in Everyone.

What makes us a great place to work?

You will:

  • Be working for the biggest Multi Academy Trust in the UK.
  • Be part of a culture where feedback and training is central to improving the individual and teams.
  • Receive the resources you need to carry out your work function, including a laptop for use at home and a fully equipped office.
  • Be able to access numerous employment schemes such as: a car leasing scheme, access to ‘My Westfields’ offering discounts in weekly shopping, high street stores, flights and holidays.
  • Have access to reduced Gym Membership (50% off standard anytime membership) in a state-of-the-art gym facility on campus.
  • Free parking on campus
  • Be entitled to access United Learning’s Staff Benefits package.
  • In addition to generous holiday entitlement, receive a dedicated ‘well-being’ day.

If you are highly organised, solutions focused, and motivated by making a difference for children, families, and staff, we would love to hear from you.
