Premises Officer/Caretaker job summary

Premises Officer/Caretaker Permanent/part time (15 hours per week worked over 52 weeks per year) Hours: 15 per week split shift (7am - 10.30am & 2pm – 6pm) Thursdays & Fridays Hourly rate: £10.42 to £11.05 per hour St Peter’s Hinckley is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Caretaker for 2 days a week to work alongside our established Premises Officer as part of our warm and welcoming school. You will undertake the day to day responsibility for the cleaning, maintenance, security, health & safety and general administration of the school site, its grounds, buildings, facilities and equipment, ensuring that the school operates efficiently and effectively. The post holder will be expected to undertake both a morning and afternoon cleaning shift as part of this role. Other roles include the opening and locking of the school premises and housekeeping duties including minor repairs. You will be flexible, trustworthy and have a good eye for detail. You will be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people and have a good sense of humour! For further information about our school, please look at our website.
