A warm welcome to the Meadow Community Primary School and Pre-School, which is a part of the multi-academy, Symphony Learning Trust.
We believe it is important to provide a happy, caring environment where EVERY child is encouraged to be confident and excited about meeting new challenges and to strive towards excellence in all they do. It is our belief that EVERY child should enjoy school life, find satisfaction in their achievements and realise their potential to the full.
We are very proud of our very successful school, which has been at the heart of the Wigston community, educating local children for over three decades.
Our pre-school takes children from two to four years of age, through local authority funded places and through parent paid places. Our primary school has 420 children from the ages of four to eleven.
Not only do we offer exciting learning opportunities through the school day, we have an extensive programme of clubs before and after the day school and at lunchtimes. We are proud of our many sports’ achievements and display our many trophy and certificates in our school reception area.
At the Meadow, we feel it is very important that home and school work closely together. Through a strong partnership we can share our expectations, develop understanding and celebrate your child’s successes.
