- 39 weeks/year (term time plus training days) 37 hours/week - Monday to Thursday 08:30 to 16:30 (30 minute unpaid lunch break) Friday 08:30 to 16:00 (30 minute unpaid lunch break). The setting is open to children from 08:45 to 15:15.

Preschool Leader job summary
Do you have a proven background of managing a Nursery, Preschool or team within a pre-school setting?
Are you able to coordinate and manage a setting providing a quality provision?
If the answer is yes then we would like to hear from you!
We are looking for an energetic, knowledgeable and enthusiastic Preschool Leader to join our dedicated EYFS team at Weedon Bec. Experience/knowledge of “Planning in the moment” would be desirable.
You must:
be cheerful at all times, with a warm smile and provide essential hugs on demand, ensuring every child feels valued and special.
be able to shapeshift into any role: pirate, world class chef, superhero, rock star.
have the ability to read a very long fairytale book with at least 4 interruptions about what they had for dinner last night.
have an appetite for playdough creations and a thirst for multiple cups of “tea.”
have a great sense of humour and be able to laugh at jokes you don’t understand.
The ability to sing in tune is not required, however the ability to sing out of tune in front of an audience is essential.
Finally, you must be prepared to feel loved, special and important to many young children and their families. There is simply no other job quite like this one.
