Primary Alternative Provision Leader job summary
We are seeking a passionate Primary Alternative Provision Leader to oversee the development and operation of our new Discovery Centre. This innovative space will provide children with opportunities for unstructured, imaginative play, fostering creativity, problem-solving skills and social interaction.
The ideal candidate will be from a primary or early years background and be committed to creating a nurturing environment that encourages exploration, discovery, and the development of essential life skills through physical activity and outdoor play.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a groundbreaking initiative.
As PAP leader, you will have the chance to:
Build from the Ground Up: You will play a pivotal role in shaping the vision and design of the Discovery Centre, from conceptualisation to implementation.
Create a Nurturing Environment: You will develop engaging and stimulating activities that promote children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.
Foster Partnerships: You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and community members to ensure the success of the Centre.
Make a Difference: You will contribute to a positive impact on the lives of children by providing them with a safe and supportive space to learn and grow.
This role is being advertised as term time only, however, there will be an opportunity to open the centre during the school holidays as the provision grows.
