What skills and experience we're looking for
Candidates must have recent experience in teaching music or be an ECT with a specialism in the subject. However, teachers who have a strong passion and interest in the subject may also apply, but will need recent, relevant experience.
The role involves the teaching of music across the school. This will include singing, percussion and possibly an instrument. There will be good provision for CPD and training for the post-holder.
Full-time applicants will teach music in the afternoons and provide support for core subjects in the morning in a Year group (playing to their strength). Part-time will involve teaching music 3 to 5 afternoons depending on availability.
