Join Astrea Academy Trust as a Primary Pedagogy Lead!
The Primary Pedagogy Lead is required to ensure the consistent delivery of highly effective teaching and learning opportunities across all primary and Early Years classrooms in the trust. The ideal candidate with ensure the implementation of evidence-based strategies and research supported approaches to enhance the delivery of the curriculum in all subjects. The Primary Pedagogy Lead will work across our primary schools (currently covering South Yorkshire).
Key responsibilities include:
- Promote and secure high expectations for primary pedagogy within the schools.
- Evaluate the quality of teaching and its impact, identifying areas for improvement.
- Formulate evidence-based strategies to raise teaching standards and improve pupil outcomes.
- Collaborate with principals, teachers, and subject leads to develop and implement pedagogical strategies and assessment tools.
- Lead professional development activities and workshops to enhance teaching quality and raise aspirations.
