What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to recruit an outstanding, enthusiastic and committed teacher to join our energetic and nurturing team at Chulmleigh Primary School. The successful candidate will be creative and resourceful in their teaching practice, to support rapid progress and excellent outcomes. The teaching role will include being part of our wider Academy team across three primary schools, in sharing joint planning and expertise in a supportive and dynamic way.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of how children learn and how to translate this into high quality teaching and learning. You should be able to demonstrate an understanding and engagement in appropriate assessment processes and inclusive practices; and share a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
We welcome applications from candidates with good subject knowledge and proven experience of teaching in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, together with applications from outstanding early career teachers.
We are delighted to offer this part time (0.6fte) role. The work pattern for the successful candidate will be three days each week and will be timetabled one day with Year 2 and two days with Year 4. The work pattern for the successful candidate will be agreed at interview.
