Sudell Primary School is located within the Borough of Blackburn with Darwen and is only a short distance away from Darwen Aldridge Community Academy (DACA); Darwen Aldridge Enterprise Studio (DAES) and Darwen Vale High School which are all part of the Aldridge Education family of schools. Due to the short distance apart from one another the Principals of all four schools are extremely supportive of one another and work collaboratively together.

The school is situated close to Ewood Park the home of Blackburn Rovers Football Club and founding member of the Football League, India Mill once visited by Mahatma Ghandi during the cotton boycott and a number of new housing developments which brings some exciting opportunities for the school.

Darwen is served by good road and rail transport links, the M65 is only a short distance away which gives easy access to the Lake District and North Pennine Moors; the cities of Manchester, Preston and Liverpool; and seaside resort of Blackpool and Southport.

Sudell consistently outperforms neighboring primaries for value added and in its last Ofsted Inspection in November 2021 received a Good in every category.
