Primary School Tutor job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Tutor- fixed term to join an academy that is really going places. The purpose of the role is to deliver one to one and small group tuition through organising and supporting the learning of identified pupils in order to raise their levels of attainment in English and/or Mathematics. To be responsible in planning and accessing the sessions in which you deliver. To lead on improving rates of progression for identified pupils by liaising with the key stakeholders about the learning.
Have high expectations of learners to ensure they achieve their full educational potential
To be familiar with Guidance for Tutors and any other supporting information.
Meet with the class teacher before tutoring, to identify areas for development and support, and plan the pupil’s personalised learning programme and agree outcomes using an Individual Tutoring Plan (ITP)
