- Experience of conducting training/leading INSET

- Sound knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice
- Understanding of what makes ‘quality first’ teaching, and of effective intervention strategies
- Ability to plan and evaluate interventions
- Data analysis skills and the ability to use data to inform provision planning
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build effective working relationships
- Ability to influence and negotiate

What the school offers its staff
LIPA Primary and High School is a growing all-through school in Liverpool City Centre with 560 pupils on roll, ranging from Reception to Year 9. We are also part of LIPA Multi Academy Trust.
We immerse children in the creative and performing arts to enrich teaching and learning in the early development of language, reading, writing and mathematics skills. Based in the centre of Liverpool, our school, sponsored by The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, opened in September 2014.
We are an all-through school that provides children with a broad and balanced curriculum and have a particular focus on the creative and performing arts. We currently have 560 children from Reception to Year 9, growing to Year 10 from September 2024.
