What skills and experience we're looking for

This full-time vacancy provides an excellent opportunity to work in a high-quality learning environment. We are looking for a Key Stage 2 teacher to focus their attention on the students in Key Stage 3.We know the standards set in the Primary sector have advanced greatly and we want our students to benefit from these advances to continue that journey through into their secondary education.

We need your experience of transforming pupils’ lives through enabling them to achieve age related standards and beyond in a secondary setting. This role will help us further shape our transition, literacy and numeracy teaching and catch-up programme in Key Stage 3.

If you are already committed to working in a wider role, we would still welcome your application, as we will discuss a flexible approach for the right candidate. We are also very open to part time contracts.

You will be an experienced primary teacher in KS2; maybe an experienced year 6 teacher with knowledge and understanding of successful intervention approaches; potentially a subject lead from a primary school. You will certainly possess everything required to support the students and responding to their needs, which could involve anything from teaching classes to intervening with small groups of students.

Needless to say, you will be an inspiring teacher with real vision and passion – and the drive and determination to make things happen for students who really deserve the best possible outcomes.
