Primary Teacher - Early Years job summary
Do you thrive on seeing your pupils excel?
We are seeking an experienced teacher to join our dedicated and supportive team working initially within the reception class. This is the role for you if you are committed to ensuring the success of all pupils.
We are looking for a teacher who can nurture, inspire and motivate our children. You will have:
-a degree level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status
-a sound understanding of the breadth of content covered across the primary core and foundation subjects
-effective teaching, organisational and communication skills.
This is an important role for our academy as we constantly strive to improve and excel in all that we do. To succeed in this role, you will need to:
-plan teaching to ensure the progression of all pupils
-assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of pupils
-demonstrate a commitment to promoting high standards of attainment and behaviour.

Hollington Primary Academy is a school for 4 to 11-year olds in St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex. We serve our local community and encourage our pupils to think big. We have two classes in each year group and use our creative curriculum to bring learning to life. We have excellent sports provision and hold the Gold School Games award. We also host a nursery for children aged from 2 years.
We hold a Primary Science Quality Mark Bronze award.
