Martongate Primary School is a large, but friendly primary school serving the needs of children aged 4/5 to 11 years in an area of predominately private housing to the north of the traditional seaside town of Bridlington. There are currently around 410 pupils on role arranged into seven parallel year groups of around 60 pupils. The school has a very good reputation locally for the work that we do supporting all children to fulfil their potential regardless of background or individual need.

We care deeply about the children and families that we serve and try to make the children’s time at school very special. We believe that children have a right to be children and have fun whilst they learn. Above all we help children learn to love themselves, life and each other.

Visitors to the school invariably comment on the warmth of the welcome that they receive; this is not something that happens by chance, it is at the very core of all that we do.
