Primary Teacher job summary

EYFS/Y1 teacher (0.6FTE)
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic classroom practitioner to join our caring and supportive school. The successful applicant will be working in a mixed age reception and year 1 class. We are a small school and nursery situated in the village of Woore on the Shropshire/Cheshire/Staffordshire border. This post will be on a part time basis and is temporary in the first instance. Part time arrangements to be discussed with applicants.

The successful applicant will:

• Offer proven good practice in teaching and learning across the EYFS and KS1
• Provide a stimulating, creative curriculum
• Deliver high quality learning experiences that engage and motivate all children
• Have excellent classroom management and organisational skills
• Have energy, enthusiasm and drive
• Work effectively with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Be willing to make an active contribution to the whole school
• Have a sense of humour and fun

We are a small school and nursery situated in the village of Woore on the Shropshire/Cheshire/Staffordshire border. We have 3 classes and a nursery. Our grounds are extensive and include a forest school area, daily mile track, polytunnel, outdoor building and a range of playground equipment. We take children from the surrounding area including Staffordshire and Cheshire.
