We are looking to appoint an outstanding and committed Teaching Assistant who embodies our Trust values; someone who has diverse experience, as well as a passion for working with young people with additional needs.

What the school offers its staff

Nine Maidens academy mainly supports the pupils from the Camborne, Redruth area and the Lizard peninsula.

It is based near the village of Four Lanes and surrounded by rolling countryside. Nine Maidens is split into a secondary department and a primary department. Each pupil's programme is individualised and work is set at appropriate levels enabling all pupils to access the curriculum. It is one of the few academies in the country to be awarded the Dyslexia Friendly Schools Quality Mark and takes pride in the intervention programmes offered.

Outdoor Learning is another unique strength of the academy which gives the pupils opportunities to learn in a creative manner away from the classroom. Pupils consider Nine Maidens to be a safe place to learn and that every day is a fresh start.
