Salary: £24,426 based on 36hrs per week 40 weeks per annum (taken from the full time salary of £27,687 scale 5 pt 5) Points range 5-13
Location: Wembley, London

Start date: 8 January 2024 or ASAP thereafter

About the role:
It is an exciting time to join Ark Academy. Our staff are striving to maintain our outstanding reputation achieved in our last Ofsted inspection.
It is for this reason that we are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant with a minimum of 1 years’ experience with SEN children. The successful applicant will be responsible for 1to1 support with either EYFS, KS1 or KS2 children, including providing bespoke curriculum provision alongside working in class and will be expected to serve as a motivational role model. A believe in a supportive and nurturing environment is essential, as this ensure that our pupils can make rapid progress both academically and socially.
The ideal candidate will:
· Have a calm and patient manner and nurturing approach
· Be able to liaise effectively both orally and in writing with SENCo, class teachers and parents and outside agencies where appropriate.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:
- become part of a team of an ‘Outstanding’ all-through academy

- Access continuous staff development. We have a minimum of 10 training days and weekly in school sessions of a high standard. We strongly support NPQML, NPQSL and Lead Practitioner course.
