Teaching Assistant

NJC level 2A point 3-4

Full time 31.67 hours, term time only

8.45am – 3.30pm, Monday to Friday and includes a 25-minute unpaid break

Fixed term until 31st August 2024 in the first instance

To start as soon as possible

We are keen to recruit 2 new teaching assistants to fixed term posts until 31st August 2024 in the first instance, to work with specific children within our Reception and Year 1 classes. We are looking preferably for someone with experience of a similar role within the education system. Working alongside teaching staff and existing pastoral teams you will provide an extra layer of support for pupils in the reception/year 1 classes.  You may also be asked to deliver programmes of support for literacy or numeracy to small groups of pupils. The post would provide excellent experience for a person wishing to move on to a career in teaching. If you have a preference to work with children in EYFS or Year 1, please specify this in your application.
