Primary Transition Teacher x 2 job summary

Hamilton School is a specialist provision for children with SEMH needs. Exciting opportunities are available for people looking for a fresh challenge in a new inspiring learning environment where we provide children aged 11-16 with specialist teaching and learning. The posts will suit candidates who have the commitment, passion, inspiration and resilience to make a difference to pupils who have a range of social, emotional and mental health needs. We are expanding the team as we are keen to develop a primary transitional model for our KS3 learners and would welcome applicants from a range of settings to contribute to this.

We are now looking for two passionate and committed Primary Transition Teachers.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Primary teacher looking to move into an optimistic and motivating environment, supported by effective leadership at all levels. As a Primary teacher, you will ensure high standards of teaching and learning are delivered to our students in Key Stage 3 offering a nurturing and topic-based curriculum to ensure that they are able to access learning

Successful applicants will be qualified teachers with demonstrable experience of raising expectations and attainment in the classroom. You will hold a deep passion for transforming the lives of young people and understand inclusive practices to support learning of pupils experiencing Emotional, Behavioural and Social Difficulties

You will enjoy nurturing young people to help them grow in confidence and flourish personally. You will share our inclusive values of “opportunity, diversity and success for all”. In return, you will be joining our team of tenacious and talented teaching team, who have the support of an experienced leadership team
